Before the new finish
Preparation is part of the job
The clean final photograph comes last. Before that, the wall may need loose material removed, cracks opened and repaired, weak areas stabilised, reinforcement added and adjoining surfaces protected.
Assessment
Hollow areas, cracks, staining, failed beads and movement around openings.
Repairs
Local removal, patching, priming and reinforcement where required.
Application
Consistent levels, texture and junctions around windows, doors and roof lines.
Interior work
Dry lining, plasterboard and skimming when the project continues inside.
